David Higham MBA
I’ve always been interested in business and working with talented people who are good at what they do.
I think it’s important to do what you’re passionate about because you’ll feel more alive and fulfilled as a person. As a business coach and expert in scaling up businesses, I enjoy working with talented people who have created businesses around their passion and want to accelerate growth. This is what I do well and enjoy helping others realise their ambitions.
Over the last 30 years I’ve worked in media, publishing, distribution, logistics, financial services and manufacturing. Executive posts included international sales manager at Lucas CAV, head of strategy and product marketing director at the Royal Mail. Other assignments included development director and managing director at TNT Post. At the Royal Mail, I was part of the £1billion business unit management team, which created the well-respected Mail Media Centre used widely by direct marketers and advertising agencies. As product marketing director, I added £50 million of income to a £270 million product stream by maximising the utilisation of the product. This included promotional incentives, industry marketing programme and advertising.
I also led the development of a new division within TNT Post, now Whistl, first as development director and then as divisional managing director. I was responsible for scaling up the division from zero to £200 million and from zero employees to 600 people over a six year period. I led the business through various growth phases, from initial investment to profitability. The company turnover now exceeds £600 million. My scaling up experience also involved owning a manufacturing business. I increased its revenue by 400% while developing a profitable and sustainable business.

Paul Hinder FCMA FCIS
My business growth experience started when I worked closely with the founder of a small telecoms start-up venture between 1997 and 2001.
I turned the venture into a profitable business with £80 million revenue and 500 employees. We soon became the leading players in our market and were listed on the London Stock Exchange. It was during this period where I gained valuable experience in acquisitions, fund raising and investor relations.
I’ve been growing businesses for over 40 years. Most of these years were spent in blue-chip companies and telecoms, IT and internet sectors, in both senior financial and operational roles.
My experience includes main board roles on public limited companies and roles in the City of London. Companies such as Motorola, ICL, Mercury Communications and Cable & Wireless are just a few of the businesses I’ve worked with. Since 2001 I’ve provided business and professional services to business owners and venture capital funded businesses in a wide variety of sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
Glen Williamson is an International Sales Trainer, Consultant Sales Director, Sales Consultant, Speaker and Accredited Master Coach with over 33 years’ experience of sales and business development. He’s also the author of the forthcoming book 'The Heart of the Matter' (working title).
At any one time, Glen leads between 50 and 150 sales professionals across numerous industries so stays at the cutting edge of best practice in sales.
With a thorough and extensive understanding of selling and an innate ability to simply explain and embed new techniques and ideas, you’ll find Glen’s approach to sales is ethical, intelligent, fresh and effective.

Lisa Sarjeant, Chartered FCIPD
Lisa is an accomplished and qualified senior HR professional with over 25 years’ experience across the public, private and third sectors with expertise in delivering results at both strategic and operational levels.
Lisa held the spotlight in HR for many years by heading up the CIPD’s HR and Organisational Development activities, working alongside the senior leadership team and supporting the Institute’s Mission for ‘Better Work and Working Lives’.
Since 2015, Lisa has been working as an Interim HRD and Consultant to a range of SME’s, helping to drive business growth through improved people and workplace practices. Lisa has helped organisations to re-shape, define their values, measure performance, assess talent and improve employee engagement.
Lisa provides strategic advice and guidance to CEO’s and top teams who want to develop and grow their businesses, to improve their workplace culture and become a great place to work. She is a natural relationship builder with a calm approach and exceptional influencing skills. She has been a Board Member for Career Academies UK and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing. Lisa was also a judge for the CIPD People Management Awards.
